When installing the kickstand with the provided mounting plate, the distance should be: A > 1.6 inches and B < 2.75 inches. The kickstand offers an adjustable height feature, allowing it to fit a variety of bike sizes. The package includes a kickstand, a long bolt, a short bolt, an aluminum bracket, and two washers.

Installation for bikes with a mounting plate: 1. Remove the bracket, bolt, and washer from the kickstand. 2. Place the kickstand under the bike's mounting plate. 3. Insert the short bolt through the bike plate's hole and tighten it to the kickstand using a wrench.

Installation for bikes without a mounting plate: 1. Remove the bracket, long bolt, and washer from the kickstand. 2. Position the kickstand at the middle of the chain stays (beneath the chainstays). 3. Place the bracket on the chain stays. 4. Secure the bracket to the kickstand using the long bolt and washer, tightening it with a wrench.
